Harris, Natalie and Alice are three children who are caught between their divorced parents, trying to make sense of their very complex new life. They are deeply unhappy and their secret desire is, of course, for their parents to get back together. Their frazzled mother, Anna, an interior designer by profession, is trying to stand on her own two feet after the eventful divorce left her penniless and unemployed, and their strict father, Aris, who has custody, is ruthlessly trying to expand the family businesses. Samantha, their father’s personal assistant is secretly in love with him but he won’t even notice her, whereas Paul, their mother’s new boyfriend has just landed a role in the theatrical adaptation of the film “Mrs Doubtfire”. After a series of comical misunderstandings the children seem to have acquired a new nanny that nobody seems to have hired, and her name is… Amanda! The troubled and fragile relationships between our heroes start to go awry as a new bunch of colourful characters get in the picture: Zachary, Cyprus’s first ever social worker, working on the mother’s appeal for custody, Mrs Melpomeni, the curious gossipy and bossy neighbour next door and her poor husband Menios. Will the children manage to manipulate their parents to getting back together? And what happens to Amanda? The answer is not what anyone expects…
