The kitchen shelf in little Sissy’s home is just another normal kitchen shelf. Or is it? On it live little Conservios, a can of dog food, who dreams of one day being recycled to become a bicycle and travel the world. In the neighbouring shelves and cabinets are some of his close friends, namely Giaurtulis, a tub of Greek yogurt and Geisha, a beautiful box of delicious chocolate. Like their friend, every product in the kitchen dreams of being one day recycled. But their dreams are cut short when one morning the three friends are hurled down a trash can instead of the recycling bin and eventually are transported to TRASH, a vast city inhabited by millions of unrecycled souls. Despite their desperation they manage to make new friends. Most notably Champagne, who, as her name suggests, is an old Champagne bottle of aristocratic descent, also a victim of a non recycling family. King of TRASH is the authoritarian toxic battery, King Skyvaleon who makes sure that life in this new habitat is extremely difficult. The friends soon find out that no-one has ever been able to escape TRASH, and their spirits are yet again crushed. All give up except young Conservios who tries to convince his friends to help him find a way out of TRASH, to no avail. Will he be able to convince them and, with the help of the wise creature Skoupido, escape the confines of TRASH to earn a place in Anakyklosia (Recycleville) where they can fulfil their destiny?
