Α little boy plants a tree in his back yard. The years go by and the tree grows big, as does the boy. When war comes to his land, he goes off to fight, promising his wife and young daughter that he won’t be long to return. But unfortunately, as fate would have it, he never comes back… The little girl sits under the tree for hours, seeking solace in its shadow. Oh, what she would give to go back in time, where her father would made her tree talk with his magic tricks. And low and behold… something incredible happens. The tree comes to life! As their friendship evolves, the tree starts giving the little girl the love and affection she so desperately needs. But, alas, the war inevitably comes knocking on their doorstep… the young girl and her mother need to leave their own home, and as refugees, flee their land in search of a new home. The child and the tree have to part ways, forever. How will the tree help the child and its mother in their great voyage?
