Silver Spotlight Productions returns dynamically with an original musical by Chrissie Andreou. “The Worm And I” is a musical for young and old alike, once again leading its viewers to quality entertainment and social reflection. Chrissie Andreou embodies the rôles of Zoe as well as “the worm”. The two characters sing together live, each in their own distinct voices.
Zoe is tormented by infinite unfulfilled ideas in her brain. She wishes she could stop all these thoughts and find her true calling. It’s like she has a worm burrowing in her head and it just won’t leave her in peace. So she takes her grandma’s old fabric, a needle and some thread, and through her creativity she brings this “worm” to life to help guide her to acceptance and self love. Zoe and her delightful worm, contemplate, sing together and discover ways to make their daily life more bearable, more creative. Together they dispel the myth of perfection, resist rejection, and reach out to happiness and one’s true calling!
